Christoph Huber

The interplay between economies and politics has always interested me and so I focused on macroeconomics, monetary policy and financial market theory during my Economics degree. During my studies I was fascinated with understanding the big picture, and my interest in this is still unwavering. As an asset manager, I am now required to analyze these correlations, make the right investment decisions and ensure our clients understand everything. I am a partner who can offer clarity in the face of complexity, who can look far into the future by virtue of experience and technical competence.

Personal convictions

Values
The characterization of values is a continual process and my professional environment, in particular, offers me the opportunity to grow. In my current role, I have clients who entrust both their assets and their life stories to me. These personal relationships enable you to mature. Creating trust is the objective and reference point of my value system; openness, respect, tolerance and impartiality are important to me.
Markets
I observe the global financial markets for my clients and assess all asset classes in order to maintain an overall view of market movements. I provide my clients with support to navigate the ups and downs of financial markets without losing sight of the longer-term trends. A long-term alignment of investment policy is the core of solid asset management. I also provide my clients with independent and trustworthy advice on all financial aspects of their lives.
Trends
Digitalization and automation are trends which create new competitive situations. For us, these trends mean making our quality more visible: however, even in a digitalized world, personal and individual consultation, ideally spanning a person’s entire life, is still valued by our clients.
Risks
I have about 25 years of financial market experience, which has taught me that the real risks for investors are not necessarily the ones which are currently heralded as the greatest risks in the financial press. We follow a long-term, fundamental investment principle and do not react to short-term swings in the markets. However, there are newer trends, which we monitor rigorously: through the increasing amount of self-managed, new assets, which follow few and non-transparent algorithms, a new volatility has developed that we still need to get to know.
Countries
I like to gather inspiration from afar and am interested in foreign cultures, landscapes and nature. In my professional career, I mainly provide my services to clients from Switzerland and the neighboring countries. I monitor the global financial markets for these clients and we make investment decisions with a global focus in order to recognize opportunities and potentials.
People
I prefer one-on-ones to larger gatherings, as I like to focus. Communicating with clients is an exercise of character, as you learn a lot, especially that trust has to be earned. A long-standing and trusting relationship with my clients means a lot to me.
