Ullrich Fischer
Having grown up in a family of bankers, I gained my first professional experience at one of the large Austrian financial institutions, while working towards my bachelor’s degree in business administration.
After completing my Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, I decided early on to pursue a career in Private Wealth Management and joined FINAD in 2014. In 2019 I earned the CFA designation which complements my academic training.
As Chief Investment Officer and member of the FINAD Investment Committee, I play a key role in the development of the FINAD House and Market View, the design and development of the investment process, as well as in strategic and tactical decision making at the asset class and individual security level. In addition, I advise institutional clients on their asset allocation and selection of third party managers.
Deputy CIO, member of FINAD Investment Committee and FINAD Private Market Committee.

In finance, trust is the most valuable asset. It has to be earned over a long period of time, involves a great deal of responsibility and can be lost quickly and irretrievably. In order to strengthen our customers’ trust in us and our trust in ourselves, we strive for continuous improvement. Willingness to perform, integrity and loyalty are just as important as humor, humanity and empathy in this context.
